Oakbank Community Inn Sandbank – Share Offer

We are inviting you to be a part of something special – the creation of a vibrant, community-owned ‘hub’ that will provide a warm welcome and great hospitality for all.

Our plans are to revive the historic Oakbank Hotel as a pub, restaurant and accommodation, hosting entertainment, events and activities and providing a space for locals and visitors to meet and socialise.

So far, we have secured funding of £147,411 from the Scottish Land Fund – which will cover 95% of the purchase price, associated costs and some building works.

By buying shares, you are investing in a business that is owned and run by the community, and which will benefit residents, local businesses and visitors.

How can I buy community shares?

To buy shares, please download and complete the relevant application form and email it to shares@ocis.org.uk. (Please note: If you are using a mobile phone or tablet, you will need a pdf app to complete the form.)
Alternatively, print off a copy and post it to OCIS Secretary, Clyde View, Sandbank, Dunoon PA23 8PD.
Please also email us if you would like a form posted out to you.

The minimum investment for residents of Community Council areas Sandbank, Hunters Quay, Kilmun and Dunoon is £25 (1 share). The minimum investment for non-residents is £50 (2 shares). Of course, if you can afford to invest more, we would encourage you to do so. You can also invest as a business or group (minimum 10 shares).
