“More than a pub, a community hub!”
The Oakbank Inn has been at the heart of the Sandbank community for over 160 years, but it closed its doors almost three years ago.
This historic venue, situated on the banks of the Holy Loch, has now reopened as a community-owned inn thanks to the support of over 200 shareholders, a substantial grant from the Scottish Land Fund and the selfless and tireless commitment of a team of volunteers.
The Oakbank Community Inn Sandbank (OCIS) was set up in 2022 to organise the purchase and management of the pub that closed its doors.
We still need your support, and you can find out how to get involved, whether that be as a volunteer, shareholder, committee member or customer, by clicking here.
From small acorns… You can help us grow a mighty Oakbank Community Inn!
